I'm looking forward to walking 26.2 miles tomorrow with the FBC Blister Sisters. Last year a group of us completed the 28 mile Mary Jones walk in North Wales in the pouring rain. Tomorrow looks set to be a scorcher which brings a whole new set of difficulties.
Four friends have volunteered to drive us to the start point and another has rewarded them for their kindness by offering to cook bacon butties for the whole team before we set off. We've definitely got the support and encouragement sorted. Now it is time to test our physical ability and mental strength.
Some of these amazing women have chosen to walk to raise funds for some of the fortycubed charities.
Sam is walking for Diabetes UK
Sue and Sarah are walking for Bloodwise
Becky is walking for RP Fighting Blindness

Coffee and cake for charity
In the last week two fundraising coffee mornings have taken place. One for Autism Berkshire which raised £285 and another organised by Christine which raised £420 for The A21 Campaign.
This brings the total raised across the 40 fortycubed charities to a whopping £3660.58! Thank you so much for your support.
